A real writing job on the net

This item was filled under [ Online marketing ]

Finding a real writing job on the net often might seem a great issue. First you have to understand what you would your  perfect writing job on the net look like. For the most people writing is a hard task. However if you like writing you should also know that you can make a great deal of money that way. I congratulate you if you have found your way. If you have not then here is a little plan you might try out.

1. You need to set up a Blog. WordPress.com, Blogger.com or any other huge blog service will do quite well.

Blogs are greate for writing about anything. However, the more targeted on a specific subject your blog is the more interested will your audience be. For example, a person devoted to ancient literature most likely will find your book review  blog more interesting than your astronomy blog. Here we talk about targeted site visitors.

2. You need a domain name and hosting – for free or not, there are options.

WordPress and Blogger will give you this for free as long you don’t care much about how your blog address (URL) will look like e.g. YourChoosenDomainName.wordpress.com or YourChoosenDomainName.blogger.com.

If you prefer having your domain name without wordpress or blogger at the end, you’ll have to pay some dollars a month for that. For more info on this you can go to for example BlueHost or GoDaddy. If you are short on money go to Google and try searching for discount codes. Sometimes you can even get the domain and/or hosting for nothing or very little amount of money – like 0.01$ a month.

3. Go to an Affiliate Network site and sign up there – that’s free of charge. Some of the most popular are Amazon and Clickbank. Make sure you set up correct information about yourself and your payout options.

4. Choose a product of your best interest and, here we have come to the point – start writing about that. The different sides about that product.Write about 10-20 articles. Do not copy/paste from other websites! Come up with your own ideas or go to Bing or Google and search for tips. Based on that create a pretty looking article about 400 words in length. If you have to write longer articles then it is best to split that up and you’ll have 2 or more articles already.

Make sure your article titles are effective and that they actually reflect the content in the article. That’s how you create a value! Avoid getting used to low value contents. Spend some more time on research rather than just posting something to gain the 20 article limit. Quality over quantity counts more.

5.Include your affiliate links in your posts on your site pointing to the product you are trying to sell or promote.

6. Submit some or all of the articles to such article directories as EzineArticles.com or ArticleBase.com. Do mind the Terms of Service at any times to avoid problems with article quality and/or suspension of your account. These days that’s really crucial especially on how many, the look and where the links have to be placed. Point the links to your blog where you have more information on that product.

7. If and when you get a sale, that’s where you get your commission.

8. Remember:

  • Quality over Quantity!
  • The more posts/articles you have, the greater your exposure on the net, the more potential buyers you get.
  • Look at title of your article. Does it reflect the whole content of the article?
  • Be healthily critical to yourself because your visitors won’t mind criticizing you.
  • Action!

Stop Teen Text Addiction

Texting is seemingly harmless way of communication. The communication is not the problem. It is the way and the amount of texting times what makes it dangerous. The teen may loose it’s connection to reality. Nothing becomes more important that receiving back the message. That’s why they tend to send many times the question, the verbal expression of feelings, just to get a response to that text message. And once they have gotten a message back they’ll send another response to that and again will be expecting a new message back from receiver. This is exactly how it’s getting into a loop. That is why you have to stop it before it gets worse. This, if allowed to continue, may result into some of the following:

  • Distraction in normal everyday communication with persons around – family and friends.
  • Distracted from everyday tasks – there is simply less time left on this.
  • Lost interest in whats happening around.
  • The results at school becomes worse.
  • Texting while driving puts the teens life in direct risk, as well as life of other people because they text almost unconsciously, incessantly and instantly.

In order to find a solution to this dangerous situation a help is needed. The teen won’t listen and cut it at once you’ll tell to do that. To deal with the problem you have to be precise, smart and know exactly how to do it. You have to make the teen want to quit the excessive texting by him- or herself. With clever tactics you can make this work. However first of all you have to understand the severity of the problem. The more severe it is the more careful you have to be about your approach. How to do the job when you do not want to

This item was filled under [ Motivation ]

Lack of motivation.
Every one of us from time to another cannot find the motivation to accomplish a difficult part of the job. Sometimes it does not even have to be difficult. You simply cannot push yourself to do it and period! But from the other hand you know that the job has to be done e.g. preparing for test, exams or maybe your parents are coming over to visit you and you see that the room is a mess.

The problem.
I know it’s easy to say: Get up and do it! Push yourself! You can do it! Many great words to start doing something. Sometimes they might even work to get you to result. But then again, many times they don’t work. And you get fed up with all the inspirational-stuff that’s all around you because it does not work for you, or not for a long time. So what do we do then? The job still has to be done either you want it or not, and you know it.

The solution.
Imagine the result now.
Either that is passed exams or tidy room, doesn’t matter – just imagine it.

Do the steps in your head backwards.
Do it from the result to this very moment you read these words. Look at your task (books, the room or whatever that is you can’t do). Split your task in steps by difficulty. Think your way back!

Get rid or hide things that can distract you.
In case if that’s TV – turn it off now and don’t touch that remote until you have reached the result. You can even ask your friend to hide the remote in case you get nostalgic for TV.
If that’s computer games – well, here is what I did – I deleted my accounts. Yes! The “success” in the games that I had gained over a few weeks/months was suddenly gone. But this was necessary because I felt it took too much of my time and I didn’t know to get rid of it. Just pressed “delete account” and didn’t much think about it. Leaving the “What-have-I-done” feeling to a later moment.
If that’s your friends who are always taking you out or distracting you at home (yes sometimes you have to admit that friends in some situations are a distraction) then why don’t you ask them to help you on completion of the task and after that do whatever you were planning to do. A few such situations will tell real friends from the persons who are using you. Another solution to this – ask them to come over at some later point because true friends will understand this.

Just take the most difficult part of the job and start doing it!
Keep in mind the result. Don’t let it out. When the difficult part is done, you can congratulate yourself.
Because you are through with the most difficult.

Take a little rest – but not too long! Don’t get distracted here!

Take the next most difficult step and complete that as well.
When done, use some minutes to think through the whole process.
You have taken yourself to the next level. What you liked what not, and how to avoid getting in such situation next time.

Tips.

If it’s evening and you have to deliver the results the next day and you have a choice to get the task done this evening (even night) or tomorrow morning – do it in the evening. Because even if you’ll get to sleep some hours you’ll have a better feeling than sleeping some first full of worries and then waking up exhausted and nervous.

If you know that the delivery time of the task is in a relatively long time – don’t wait till the last day. Do it as soon as you have the first optimal chance to do it.

When doing something, get the most out of it. You may come to some interesting conclusions and ideas.

This item was filled under [ General ]

Thought I’d like to share this one with you.
The Problem:
I deleted purely accidentally my whole password list for Firefox on Windows 7. Of course the first thing to do was Google up the answer. Tried the first 2 result pages but didn’t find an answer that helped.
Then I approached the problem the other way around.
And here is the solution:
Go to

  1. C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox. C:\ in my case is the harddrive applicatons are installed, use other Disk letter if you have other),
  2. Then Right-click on folder named PROFILES.
  3. Then go to tab named Previous Versions and choose several days back there.

NB: Be careful if you have had some major updates to Firefox in these days!

Anyways – this helped me to get all of my saved Firefox passwords back.
